My blog has taken a bit of a back seat lately due to life stuff. First I had Covid for the second time which knocked me out for a few weeks, and then this last weekend, rather than do my blog, I instead travelled away for a mini-vacation in Nottingham. Business will resume next week, but for now, here is the final post of the week with a news trilogy.
Back in March, filmmaker Jared Masters released his latest movie, horror comedy Easter Evil, one that he came out of retirement for. This stars Elizabeth Rath (The Nightgown) as a waitress who is on the first night of her new job in Las Vegas. It isn't long after checking into her hotel that she begins to be stalked by a giant killer rabbit. Easter Evil is available to buy on DVD.
South Asian sci-fi thriller Rani Rani Rani is due for DVD and VOD platform release on May 28th from Freestyle Digital Media. The film follows Rani, a caretaker at an abandoned factory near a virtually abandoned Indian village. She gets convinced to volunteer as a test subject for a strange machine that a group of opportunists have managed to get their hands on.
Finally for today, The Whispering Man came to VOD on March 26th from Bayview Entertainment. The film was inspired by the real life Whisperer legend of Columbia and Venezuela, it's about a man who inherits a strange painting which he soon finds leads to him being haunted by a demonic being known as The Whispering Man.
